Staff positions available
If you have a passion for the Great Commission and a desire to share Christ's love and the transforming truth of the gospel with international students and scholars, we welcome you to consider joining our ISI team in the northeast. Raising your own support is required (but training and coaching is provided). Hours are flexible. Priority positions needed are below, but the opportunities are not limited to these. Inquire with questions to Regional Director David Larson at [email protected] or make an official Staff Inquiry through our National site at http://www.internationalstudents.org Partial Regional subsidy for the first two years ($500 a month for first year and $300 a month for second year) may be available for the priority positions listed below: (pending availability of funds)
1) New York City Director. Our NYC director has taken the ISI training director role and so we
need a new director for New York City, which has more than 80,000 international students.
2) Boston City Director: With about 60,000 international students and such strategic schools as Harvard
and MIT, Boston is a key ministry location and one having a long history with ISI. Steve Hope is the current
Boston City Director, but we are looking to raise up a City Director for the future who can lead and build the
team for greater impact with and through the many international students in Boston..
4) Philadelphia City Director: Our Philadelphia City Director will be transitioning to senior status in a year or
two, so we are looking for someone to take on that important role. Philadelphia has more than 20,000
international students at several campuses, including UPenn (Ivy League).
4) Penn State campus staff: Penn State has a vibrant campus ministry but is in need of an additional staff or
staff couple to help share the load and grow the ministry.
5) Ivy League unstaffed campuses: Several Ivy league schools do not have an ISI ministry, including Yale,
Brown, and Dartmouth. Yale has a ministry partner (ISUSA) that would welcome an ISI staff to work with them.
These are strategic campuses with significant numbers of high-level international students.
6) Regional Field Director: David Larson has taken a new role with ISI (Director of Global Reach). He is still
the Regional Director as well but is looking for a replacement. Applicants should preferrably have director level
experience with ISI or another similar organization.
