Northeast Regional Conference 2024
Dates: March 15-17, 2024, with pre-conference arrival on Thursday evening, March 14.

Theme: Rivers of Living Water. Psalm 1:3: "That person is like a person planted by streams of water, which yields fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither--whatever they do prospers."

Friday pre-conference: 9:15am to 2:15pm
Friday conference: starts 4pm with welcome session and prayer groups; plenary after dinner with Seng Tang
Saturday morning: Plenary with Rob Reimer and Workshops (new to ISI or roundtable workshop topics)
Saturday afternoon: prayer walks and optional free time activities (Historic Philadelphia tour or Art Garden)
Saturday evening: plenary with Rob Reimer
Sunday morning: Closing session, finishing by 10:45am

Workshop Options (Saturday, 11am-12:15pm)
1) New to ISI.
For those exploring an ISI staff or Min Rep position (or for new staff and Min Reps who would like a chance to dialogue with the president and Regional Director). Led by Seng Tan (ISI President) and David Larson (Northeast Regional Director).
2) Roundtable Workshop
Participants can choose three of the following topics in 20 minutes segments. On the registration you will sign up for roundtable workshops, but you can wait until the day of to select the three topics).
1) Brunch Outreach (Ruth Hartunian-Alumbaugh)
2) Dinner Club (Philly team)
3) Q & A with Rob Reimer
4) Cultural Celebrate Nights (Philly team, Bridges)
5) Surveys as an Outreach Tool (Philly team, Bridges)
6) Human Library (Janet Uetz)
7) Working with churches (pastors panel)
8) Student conferences (Heather Fannin)
Childcare
Childcare will be provided for children under 5 years old, but we will not have a children's program for older children. We will have one dedicated childcare person plus one ISI staff person each session to help (voluntary sign-up)
Parking
Free parking from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning is being arranged a few blocks away. You can pay $35 a day for parking at the hotel (this is reimbursable from your account, so if you have surplus funds available, you may find this a more convenient option). For those attending pre-conference, we suggest you pay for parking the Thursday night and optionally move your car Friday afternoon to the free parking.
